Not quite sure what this face meant, but it was oh so cute!!

Saturday hang out time with Miles

Juliana is becoming much more active- only taking 2 naps a day and playing the rest of the time. We are still amazed at how chill she is and yet how much her legs move (constantly). She is quite a chatterbox and loves to smile at everyone. She still visits the office daily to visit Kara and charms the ladies no matter what (the way they act you would think they never see babies).
She is still the love of our life and we can't even remember what life was like 5 1/2 months ago without her. This weekend she will meet her "auntie Lauren" and her boyfriend Matt for the first time- sure to be a fun weekend!

This past week, little Juliana started on semi-solid foods.  First up was rice cereal, and all in all she did really well.  She picked up right away what she was supposed to do, and though the first few sessions were pretty messy, she was eating nonetheless.  It seems like she's grown even more this week, and we're sure she'll be crawling in no time.
We also visited Oma and Grandpa Woodnorth up in NY for Easter, and she travelled like a champ.  Most of her time was spent sleeping in the car seat, and when she needed a little help getting to sleep, dad played rock music ("Seventh Wonder" in case you were wondering) to put her to sleep.  She's already our little rock star!

This past week has been a fun one for us as Juliana has had lots of new developments.  First of all, as you can see from the video, she is now a laughing machine.  It's hilarious and impossible not to laugh yourself when you hear it.  Also, she is rolling over like crazy and also grabbing her toes at every chance.  This weekend we took a nice long walk on Sunday afternoon (right before the hailstorm and tornado!) through the local park and Juliana seemed to enjoy taking everything in.  She even had a pleasant encounter with a cute little puppy.  All in all, a great week.
