Well, even though it seemed like the day would never come, Kara finally gave birth to our first child. And, as if that wasn't exciting enough, we broke the O'Hara curse of 3 straight generations of nothing but boys by having ourselves a little girl. Obviously she's beautiful, I mean, look at the stock she came from. She's got chubby little cheeks and has quickly become the love of our lives. So here are the birth stats:

Weight: 8 lbs. 0 oz.

Hair: plentiful and brown
Muscle tone: somewhere between marathon runner and gymnast
Best Attribute: ability to destroy diapers with alarming regularity
So we'll be updating this site regularly in order to keep friends and family who aren't nearby updated on all the changes and excitement that is upcoming. Parenthood is already a blast and extremely rewarding, and we can't wait to see what the future holds.

She is really adorable! You got some great pictures of her wide awake so we can really see her pretty face! We can't wait to meet her! I want to hear all about how things are going.
